Animal Chiropractic

Like people, animals can benefit from proper spinal alignment and motion. Your pet may benefit form chiropractic care if they are showing signs of lameness, trouble getting up or down, decreased performance, recent surgery, seizures, neurological problems or a recent change in mood or behavior.

Dr. Bloom is a certified animal chiropractor through the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association, which is the highest level of education a animal chiropractor can achieve. In addition, she has apprenticed with Dr. Mark DePaolo DVM, a well known equine chiropractor and acupuncturist. Dr. Bloom mostly treats dogs and horses but she is open to adjusting all kinds of pets. Dr. Bloom is not a veterinarian, and chiropractic care is not a replacement for traditional veterinary medicine. Dr. Bloom requires all her patients to have approval from their veterinarians prior to treatment. Please bring the provided forms to your veterinarian and discuss if chiropractic care is right for your animals condition.

Dr. Bloom enjoys seeing how quickly and effectively animals respond to chiropractic care. Treatments consist of spinal and extremity manipulation, myofascial release and cold laser therapy.  Dr. Bloom is available for farm calls and house calls on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
